2nd Annual Love, Chloe Kickball Jam The 2nd annual Love, Chloe Kickball Jam was held on Saturday, September 19. There were 12 teams and more than 175 players. With more than 40 volunteers, this year's jam was a great success. To read more about the event, click here.

September was Childhood Cancer Awareness Month The community-wide campaign for childhood cancer was a big success. This was its first year, but many businesses showed a lot of support. To read more about the events click here. Click here to read the special insert

There's a Monkey In My Chair We have officially started with our new program, There's a Monkey In My Chair. This new program provides "monkey kits" to pre-school and elementary aged children that are diagnosed with cancer. The kits include a huge stuffed monkey with a backpack, journal, camera, photo album, a book and more. We have already sent out a handful of kits to children. Children's Mercy in Kansas City is our first participating hospital and we have supplied them with their first kits to hand out. We have had some others request kits through word of mouth. We hope to get the program in a few more hospitals this year. We will also continue to sending them as the families request them through our website. The website it up and running. You can read more about the program there and also see pictures of the children that are receiving the monkeys. Love, Chloe is on Facebook It seems that everyone is on Facebook these days, so we decided that Love, Chloe should be too. We have recently started a Love, Chloe Foundation group on Facebook. You can join our group if you are a member of Facebook. If you are not a member of Facebook, it's free and simple to sign up. We can post events and send out news update throught the group. We have also set up a cause for "There's a Monkey In My Chair". This a way to spread the word about the program and it also is a way for people to donate money directly to the program. 1st Annual Love, Chloe Crop Saturday, February 7, 2009 The 1st annual Love, Chloe Crop was held on Saturday, February 7 from 8am-midnight. The event was a lot of fun and a big success. Click here for more information.

3rd Annual Love, Chloe Benefit Concert Sunday, December 28, 2008 The 3rd annual Love, Chloe Benefit Concert was held at the Blue Goat in Salina, KS. The concert featured Ryan McCall and Ben Romans on dueling pianos. There was also special guests joining them throughout the night. Many of the members of the infamous Joe's Pet Project. This event was a huge success bringing in more than $2,500 to the foundation.
